Alida Kannemeyer started Fresh Identity at the turn of the millennium – January 2000. Having cut her teeth at various design companies she started her own design agency working primarily out of an office in Observatory. With a small but loyal clutch of clients she grew the business steadily over the next few years before expanding with one then two employees and moving to Salt River. In 2009 her husband, Piers Buckle, joined the business having spent 13 years in the publishing industry as a Creative Director and Editor. The company is now four strong and retains almost all of its clients from day one. Fresh Identity’s goal is to deliver solid, well-designed design work with an emphasis on functionality and attention to detail.
We work primarily in the printed realm with some digital work as and when the brief dictates. Much of the printed work is made up by annual reports, corporate identities, printed collateral for existing brands and magazine consultation. We manage the whole process from conception through the delivery of printed matter.
We are not here to win awards, we are here to deliver good design that’s on brief and within budget.
